UPCOMING SHOWS 2010 - 2011: AMERICAN MUSEUM OF FOLK ART - Big Quilting things are in store
for us in what the AMFA is calling the
"Year of the Quilt", starting with the opening on October
5th of an exhibition of 35 quilts which will take up 3 floors
at the Museum's 45 west 53rd Street location in NYC.
This exhibition runs through April 24,
2011 after which "Part 2" will open on May 10, 2011.
that
explores the role of stars in quilts. This
opens Nov. 16, 2010 and runs till Sept. 25, 2011
So mark your calendars, this is the year to see quilts in New York City!
